CNDC was invited to attend the “Mongolian Flavours Meet the Silk Road, Cattle and Sheep Shine in ASEAN” promotional event to jointly chart a new blueprint for China-Cambodia industrial capacity cooperation

On 9 January 2026, the ‘Mongolian Flavours Along the Silk Road, Cattle and Sheep to ASEAN’ promotional event, jointly organised by the People’s Government of Xiwujumqin Banner and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA), was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi. CNDC Design & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘CLI Nanning’) attended the event as a specially invited enterprise, engaging deeply in industrial collaboration and strategic exchanges.

Promoting opportunities and achieving mutual benefit. During the event, CNDC engaged in multi-faceted exchanges with domestic entities such as the People’s Government of Xiwujumqin Banner, Altai Agricultural Development Company, Guangxi Zhengtong Renhe Company and Beijing Bocai Zhigu Company, as well as ASEAN organisations including the Cambodia-Australia-France Group, the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) and the Vietnam-China General Chamber of Commerce. Focusing on topics such as the deep processing of grassland livestock products, the construction of ASEAN light industrial parks, and cross-border industrial chain coordination, the parties reached a number of cooperative agreements.

Guided by the strategic direction of the in-depth advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the full implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the state encourages localities to leverage their resource endowments to deepen industrial alignment and trade cooperation with countries and regions along the Belt and Road. As a key member of ASEAN, Cambodia is currently witnessing new and significant opportunities for the development of China-Cambodia economic and trade cooperation. Light industry constitutes a vital component of Cambodia’s economic development, and industrial cooperation between the two sides holds immense potential and scope for mutual complementarity.

Looking ahead, CNDC will take this promotional event as an opportunity to actively participate in international industrial capacity cooperation, leveraging its early overseas expansion and experience in implementing international projects. By utilising core technologies to empower the industrial transformation and upgrading of ASEAN countries, the company aims to help build a closer industrial cooperation network between China and Cambodia, as well as between China and ASEAN, thereby contributing to regional economic integration and the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
